Nevermind came out of nowhere in 1991 and took everything with it — hair metal, industry expectations, the idea that rock had to be polished. Three people from Aberdeen making the loudest, most honest noise they could, and it connected with millions of people who felt exactly the same way. This portrait captures the band as a force rather than individuals: the paint is raw and direct, mark-making that doesn't apologise for itself. Nevermind the noise — just feel it.
