Ready to ship is a finished painting sitting in the studio right now. What you see is the piece you'll receive, and it goes out within 2 working days.

Painted to order means I'll hand-paint that design for you in the size you choose. Same materials, same colours, same reference photo — but because it's painted by hand it won't be identical to the photograph. Those small differences are the point.

Typically 2–3 weeks. I start within 2 days of your order, send in-progress photos partway through, and send final images for your approval before it ships.

Choose Priority (+£145). Your painting goes to the front of the studio queue and is finished within 3 days, images are sent to you for confirmation, and delivery is upgraded to express. One option, start to finish.

If the painting you want is in Ready to Ship it already exists, so you just need the expedited shipping option at checkout instead.

Return it within 14 days for a full refund. If it arrives damaged or isn't as described, I cover the return postage too — otherwise the return postage is yours. Get in touch and I'll sort it out.

No — and here's why that's fair. A commission is painted for you specifically, from your photograph, so there's nobody else it could go to. What protects you instead is the approval step: I send in-progress photos partway through and final images before anything is packed, and I'll keep making changes until you're happy. Nothing ships until you've said yes.

Paintings are sold unframed. Pieces up to 40x40" arrive stretched on a canvas frame and ready to hang, so most people hang them exactly as they are.
