Tupac Shakur was 25 when he died, but had already released enough to define a generation. The title here borrows from Maya Angelou's defiant poem — one Tupac claimed as his own anthem. That refusal to be diminished, to stay down, to be written off — that's what this portrait is about. The teal, the crown, the gaze that holds the room. There's no nostalgia in it. Just presence.
