Sizes & pricing
Couple portrait commissions are available in the same 11 sizes as my single-subject portraits, from 20×24" (£355) up to 72×72" (£1,795). Pricing runs around 20% above the equivalent single-subject portrait, reflecting the additional time and detail required to paint two figures. Need a custom size? Common questions
Can I commission a painting of any two people?
Yes — partners, parents and children, siblings, friends, business partners. If you have reference photos of both, I can paint them.
What if I don't have a photo of the two of them together?
Send clear separate photos and I'll work the composition. I do this regularly.
Are wedding and anniversary commissions a good fit?
Yes — they're the most common reason couples commission with me. Tell me the occasion when you enquire and I'll suggest size and composition.
Shipping & stretching
Paintings 48×48" and larger are removed from their stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a protective tube. You'll need to have the canvas stretched by a local framer on arrival.
